This fluffy, pan-cooked Omelet at Longboards Restaurant & Bar fed #TheBaldOne yesterday afternoon as he and #TerribleTee met to discuss important matter of business.

Omelets are a staple of Breakfast and Brunch. There are different types and styles out there, single fold, double fold, and there is variation of ingredients and whether they are stuffed within or mixed into the eggs. One of the main differences is whether they are cooked on a flat-top grill or in a saute pan. The pan-cooked Omelet done properly is always our preference.

This one was stuffed beautifully with lobster, shallots, spinach, and boursin cheese. We offer a special mention for the excellent home fries.

It’s always nice to see more than one hot sauce offered. The LB house sauce and Louisiana Hot Sauce both made an appearance.

What did #TheBaldOne do when he visited Longboards Restaurant & Bar on a cold, cold Tuesday afternoon?

He went for the Dirty Dogs. Two Dogs with bacon, lots of beer cheese, and James River BBQ Sauce. They went down quickly paired with a tall Pabst Blue Ribbon.
