The team from Salem Childrens Charity, a certified 501c3, met at Columbus Society Lounge on Thursday night to make some plans for this year’s fundraising efforts. This small under the radar group of locals is #TheBaldOne’s favorite group of do-gooders in Salem. They don’t publicize what they do, they just go out and do it.
After the meeting a couple of pies were ordered for delivery from Mandees Pizza Salem. Slices were enjoyed, conversation ensued, and may have slowly evolved onto a genial, non-corrosive, well intentioned trading of personal insults. That’s what friends do.

Mandees Pizza Salem delivered this large Anchovy Pie to settle a small wager between #BlackHat and #TheBaldOne over the result of the Army Navy Game last week. We only show half the pie, the Army half, because the other half, representing the losing side was eaten by the Aviations Mate, while this half is for the Dog-Faced Soldier.
Last evening brought delivery from Mandees Pizza Salem to the door of #SonOfAnExpletive. One large sausage, mushroom, and onion pie was ordered over the phone.
Here’s how it went.
1. Call was answered promptly, politely, and efficiently.
2. Information was provided with no issues. The call took less than two minutes.
3. A proper tip was payed in advance. Trust your favorite spots.
4. Pie was delivered in just under 30 minutes, still very warm.
5. This excellent pie was eaten in the evening sun, on the back deck, with a mass produced, ice cold, light beer in a silver can.
