Up on Highland Avenue, #ScaryUncleSully had his breakfast at April’s Ii, of the April’s Pub & Grill empire.

Spinach, feta, tomato egg white omelet. To quote the Scary One, “always consistent, great food, great staff, great food. Yes, you read that right, the food was great twice. What more can be said?

We must admit our disappointment had not being invited to this Saturday morning breakfast.

#BlueEyes has discovered Aprils 2 Highland Ave Salem, Ma (April’s Pub & Grill) and they may never, ever be the same because she likes what they do.

The scrambled eggs, bacon, and home fries with a perfectly grilled English muffin met her expectations and then some. The pancakes were a hit also.

Yes it’s true. We did indeed venture west up Highland Avenue to April’s II, which shares a website and FB page with the original April’s Pub & Grill in the the Great City of Lynn.

The Salem location is at 400 Highland Avenue, just before Wal-Mart in the same strip mall as East Sakura Buffet.

#TheBaldOne went for three eggs scrambled softly with an excellent house-made corned-beef hash. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash was exactly what you expect in a proper small restaurant/diner hash. It was meaty with that almost smooth texture.

The Boston Omelet was served to #ScaryUncleSully. Steak Tips, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes folded into three eggs. The ScaryOne was quite satisfied and really didn’t scare anybody this morning. He needs to work on that.

April’s Pub & Grill, whether it be the one here in Salem or the spot in Lynn was worthy of our time, and is worthy of your time.

We will be exploring their very expansive lunch menu soon. They have Mofongo folks.

This morning #TheBaldOne and #ScaryUncleSully paid a breakfast visit to April’s Ii (April’s Pub & Grill ) in Salem. The second link brings you to their Lynn page.

The cantankerous #TerribleT decided that the time had come yesterday for a visit to Salem’s newest breakfast & lunch spot. April’s, salem ma on Highland Avenue is the second location for April’s Pub & Grill in Lynn.

The place has been cleaned up nicely and they are dedicated to continuing the excellence of the original location.

There were no complaints filed regarding the well crafted and delicious burger.

Without trumpets or fanfare April’s 2 at 400 Highland Avenue is up and running. They are at 400 Highland Avenue. That is the old (but not oldest) Bob’s Fried Clams spot.

They are a part of the April’s Pub & Grill operation on Buffum Street in Lynn.

This Steak Tip Salad passed muster and then some for #MissDanielle.

The Salem Licensing Board will grant three Common Victuallers Licenses to three new Salem businesses tonight.

Paprika GRILL, a Turkish spot will soon open on New Liberty Street.

Salem Juice Barn is slated for business at 101 Lafayette Street.

Julios On Highland will open at the old Bob’s Fried Clams spot on Highland Avenue. This place is brought to us by the owners of April’s Pub & Grill in Lynn.
