We will admit that we have not paid enough attention to Highland Avenue over the last few years. Salem has a lot of places to eat, and there are some good ones on this stretch of the old Salem Turnpike.

Pizza, subs, and salads at Peter’s Bella Pizza located across from North Shore Medical Center, roast beef sandwiches at Londis of Salem behind Salem’s own fast food row of Burger King, Taco Bell, and McDonald’s. Our very own IHOP where the Ground Round once stood, the new Tepeyac Cocina Mexicana, and April’s, salem ma are all there to satisfy whatever huger craving you may have for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
