When #WingMan and #TheBaldOne sit for Breakfast you rest assured that they bring their appetites. Their table is not for those who eat lightly.
New Brothers Restaurant & Deli in Danvers was a recent stop. Cafeteria type spots are not as common as in years past. This spot has the system down cold, and runs quickly and efficiently without a hitch, a glitch, or a reason to b*tch. You grab a tray and silverware, get in line, examine the menu, and be ready to order when your time comes. It’s easy as 1, 2, 3.
The main plates were a Veggie Omelet and sausage links for the WingedOne, and 3 Sunny Eggs with Lokaniko for our BaldOne. Sides of Corned Beef Hash and Meatloaf with gravy were requested, along with cold, sliced Tomato for #HisTapeWormsNameIsFred who always seems to come along without being noticed. It’s like he hides in plain site.
The Omelet was devoured quickly, and the Sunny Eggs were a proper sunny, which actually meant a little runny alongside the beautiful yolks. This spot knows how it’s done. Somehow the sausage links made it onto the wrong plate, but that was of no concern as all of the sides were split. Except of course for the sliced tomato. Nobody messes with Fred’s tomato.
A special word is added for the house Corned Beef Hash. It’s a classic hash, very meaty. But this one has finely cut green pepper included which provides a little extra flavor and a bit more zest.
Keep this spot in mind and remember to keep it as simple as do, re, me.
