A Saturday evening visit to the front patio at Rockafellas Salem was a pleasant diversion. The weather was beautiful, the company tolerable, after all hanging out with #TerribleTee can be a chore but #TheBaldOne made it work. At least Tee wore a clean white tee shirt.

A Mediterranean Plate with some wonderful Steak Tips provided a delicious and very nutritious dinner with assorted veggies, hummus, and avocado. Wild PEI Mussels in a fantastic broth
complete with bits of savory sausage really hit that spot. The broth was just begging for the French Bread Crostini to be dipped, and dipped again. We cannot possibly praise the Rosemary & Lemon Chicken Wings enough. We won’t argue with those that call these the “Best Wings” in town. They are exceptional and are #BaldOneApproved.

Walking past Rockafellas Salem the other day we spotted #VampFangs sitting on the shady side patio enjoying a few Chicken Wings. This encounter led to a short discussion concerning where to find the best Wings in Salem.

The Rosemary-Lemon Wings at Rock’s are certainly in that discussion, and more than a few will insist that they are indeed the best. Rosemary has a broad, and fascinating flavor profile. “Earthy, piney, with a subtle bitterness, it can also feature a slight touch of mint or menthol.” Some varieties also bring a bit of citrus with them. These Wings at Rock’s do indeed deliver a little lemony taste with each bite.

#TheBaldOne stopped in on Tuesday afternoon to reacquaint himself with these Wings and he was indeed impressed. These are Wings of Distinction. He paired them with a nice, fresh 5 Spice Wheat Beer by Couch Dog Brewing Co..
