It’s National Chicken Wings Day? Although probably not declared by Congressional decree, or an executive order from The White House, it truly is a day dedicated to Chicken Wings. Tenders or fingers don’t count, not here. Bone-in or go home.

The Mexican Wings at Howling Wolf Taqueria, the original “wolf” in town area great treat.

Salem’s newest Chicken Wings can be found at The Babe in the old Major’s spot.

Koto Asian Fusion has Salt & Pepper Wings that put #TheBaldOne over the moon.

The Wings at O’Neills of Salem are a dependable treat.

Village Tavern Salem serves up some good dry-rub Chicken Grub.

The gamers at Bit Bar Salem have been known to “wing it” once in awhile.

Mercy Tavern puts out some good Wings too.

What to do on a rainy day?

A late Breakfast at Dotty and Ray’s – Salem, MA in the northfields of Salem or a quick trip up Highland Avenue to April’s, salem ma are our Sunday morning suggestions.

Brunch may be what you want today. VFW Witch City Post 1524 has you covered, as does Ledger Restaurant.

Lunch isn’t Brunch so you may want to drop into Longboards Restaurant & Bar on Pickering Wharf for Wings , or perhaps go for a pie at Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill on Canal Street.

If dinner, or supper for you old-timers is the objective Village Tavern Salem has all the Steaks, while Howling Wolf Taqueria will put Steak into your Quesadilla.

Yesterday Longboards Restaurant & Bar set aside 20% of their Chicken Wings revenue to Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill to help offset the costs of repairs after the unfortunate incident that damaged their building.

#SalemsBot and #TheBaldOne dropped by to enjoy a few Wings at the outdoor bar. Jamaican Jerk, and General Tso were the flavors of choice.
