Today was a day to visit two Vinnin Square spots that share ownership plus a building and patio.
A tall Iced Coffee from Sweet Java sated the thirst of #TerribleTee while he and #TheBaldOne waited for a large Steak Bomb Pizza from Vesuvius Salem. The sun was bright just after noontime and a good breeze was beginning to bring in the clouds and moisture for the expected rain. Nevertheless, patio seating was claimed.
As they waited for the pie, a young lady came along with a cat in a baby buggy who asked that they watch her kitty while she conducted a few minutes of business inside. The favor was granted and no harm came to either the cat or our two hungry pizza lovers.
The large pie, truly built like a steak bomb had Premium shaved steak, mushrooms, peppers, onions, salami and American cheese. Both of our lunch time heroes determined that it was an excellent pie with the American cheese really being a difference maker. The chewy, lightly blistered dough itself also generated some praise.
COVID protocols at the counter and in the dining room were in place.
