This morning Salem Digest attended the outdoor Veteran’s Day Service on Memorial Drive at Larking Lane. Afterwards a short march was undertaken to Shop The Chocolate Pantry on Derby Street. The newest addition to the #SweetSalem scene is nestled comfortably between Mercy Tavern and Wolf Next Door Coffee. Just call the block between Daniels Street and Bentley Street #TheLusciousLine.
We met Amy who posed for a photo behind the counter and then we explored the shop in order to explore the offerings which are “Globally sourced chocolates & confectionery, sophisticated flavors, handcrafted to perfection. Over 50 chocolate fillings to choose from, all individually wrapped. Customized favors, gift baskets, occasional & holiday orders available.”
Oh my goodness. If you have a sweet tooth we’d suggest tying a rope around something solid outside and then tying it around your waist. That way, if you get disoriented or lost you can find your way out by following the rope. Or, a friend can pull you out after an agreed upon period of time.
#TheBaldOne doesn’t really have a sweet tooth. He prefers his chocolate dark and towards the bitter. Amy was having none that foolishness and insisted on providing a grab bag of sweet, not so sweet, and delicious samples to take home and explore. This a sacrifice he must make for you. It’s not always easy being Salem Food Digest point man. It’s all done for you friends.
Make some time to visit and let Amy and Shop The Chocolate Pantry show that when “Life Happens Chocolate Helps.”
